Here’s what you’ll need for making soft and fluffy Moong Dal Dhokla:
For Dhokla Batter:
- 1 cup yellow moong dal split
- 1 –2 green chilies
- 1- inch ginger piece
- 1/2 cup water for grinding
- 1 tbsp curd optional for flavor
- 1 tsp ENO fruit salt or 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp oil
For Tempering:
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 green chilies slit
- A few curry leaves
- 2 tbsp water
- Fresh coriander for garnish
- Grated coconut optional
