Ingredients
For Dough:
2cupswhole wheat flour
Wateras needed
1tspoil
¼tspsalt
For Paneer Filling:
200gpaneercottage cheese, grated
1–2 green chiliesfinely chopped
1inchgingergrated
½tspcumin seeds
¼tspturmeric powder
½tspred chili powder
½tspgaram masala
1tbspfresh corianderchopped
Salt to taste
For Roasting:
Ghee or oilfor cooking
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, salt, and a tsp of oil.
Gradually add water and knead into a soft, smooth dough.
Cover and rest it for 15–20 minutes.
Step 2: Make the Paneer Filling
In a bowl, add grated paneer, green chilies, ginger, spices, and chopped coriander.
Mix everything well. Taste and adjust salt or spice.
Step 3: Stuff & Roll
Divide the dough into equal balls.
Roll one ball into a small circle (like a poori).
Place 2–3 tbsp of the paneer mixture in the center.
Carefully seal the edges by bringing them together and flatten gently.
Roll again into a medium-sized paratha using light pressure.
Step 4: Cook the Paratha
Heat a tawa or skillet on medium heat.
Place the rolled paratha and cook for 30–40 seconds. Flip and apply ghee or oil.
Cook both sides until golden brown spots appear.
Repeat with remaining dough and filling.
