Ingredients
For Dough:
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- Water as needed
- 1 tsp oil
- ¼ tsp salt
For Paneer Filling:
- 200 g paneer cottage cheese, grated
- 1 –2 green chilies finely chopped
- 1 inch ginger grated
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander chopped
- Salt to taste

- Ghee or oil for cooking
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, salt, and a tsp of oil.
- Gradually add water and knead into a soft, smooth dough.
- Cover and rest it for 15–20 minutes.
Step 2: Make the Paneer Filling
- In a bowl, add grated paneer, green chilies, ginger, spices, and chopped coriander.
- Mix everything well. Taste and adjust salt or spice.
Step 3: Stuff & Roll
- Divide the dough into equal balls.
- Roll one ball into a small circle (like a poori).
- Place 2–3 tbsp of the paneer mixture in the center.
- Carefully seal the edges by bringing them together and flatten gently.
- Roll again into a medium-sized paratha using light pressure.
Step 4: Cook the Paratha
- Heat a tawa or skillet on medium heat.
- Place the rolled paratha and cook for 30–40 seconds. Flip and apply ghee or oil.
- Cook both sides until golden brown spots appear.
- Repeat with remaining dough and filling.
